Course Requirements
Entry Requirements
Students must hold a current Level 3 First Aid At Work Qualification to qualify for this course. Evidence of prior learning will need to be shown to the test centre prior to the start of the course. Students should be 14 years old and above.
Personal Qualities
To under take this course you need to be enthusiastic about building on your knowledge and reinforcing pre learned skills. You get out of the course what you put in so, are you ready to dive into the world of First Aid?
Requalification
This qualification is valid for a period of 3 years. The learner needs to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified. Qualsafe also recommends attending a refresher once per year after completing the full qualification.

As we all learn in different ways, your tutor will use a variety of teaching methods throughout the course. These will include:

To make learning easier, the course is broken down into sections that follow a logical sequence throughout.
Assessments
Your trainer will assess you throughout the course, to ensure that you understand the topics covered. At the end of the course, there will be a multiple choice assessment.
Do not worry about this, we are not assessing your spelling or writing skills, but checking that you have gained sufficient knowledge from the course provided.
This is followed by a practical assessment where you must demonstrate that you can undertake the practical first aid tasks taught over the 3 days.
